Introduction to the Warranty Policy of Screw Air Compressors

I. Warranty Period

1. Standard Warranty Period

The warranty period starts from the date when the screw air compressor is successfully commissioned and is valid for 1 year. Alternatively, when the operating hours of the equipment reach 1,500 hours, the warranty period is also considered to have expired, whichever comes first. In addition, if 18 months have passed since the delivery date, the warranty period is also reached. For example, if a screw air compressor was successfully commissioned on January 1, 2024, and its operating hours reached 1,500 hours in November 2024, then its warranty period ended in November 2024. If the equipment was delivered on July 1, 2023, even if the operating hours and commissioning time have not reached the above standards, the warranty period has expired by January 1, 2025.

2. Extended Warranty Period (Optional)

If the customer has the need and chooses to purchase the extended warranty service, based on the standard warranty period, the warranty cycle can be extended to 2 years after commissioning or 3,000 operating hours or 30 months after delivery, whichever comes first (including the first - year standard warranty).


II. Warranty Scope

1. Core Components

It covers main components such as screw rotors, bearings, and the machine body, as well as controllers and electrical components. If these core components have quality problems caused by non - human factors within the warranty period, they are all within the warranty scope. For example, if the screw rotor experiences wear, deformation, etc. due to material defects or manufacturing process problems, it will be repaired or replaced free of charge.

2. Other Components

In addition to the core components, components related to the cooling system, such as components of the cooling system, oil pumps, and pipelines of the lubrication system, etc., also have warranty services if there are quality problems within the warranty period. However, for some vulnerable parts, such as air filters, oil filters, oil - gas separators, seals, etc., although they are also within the warranty scope, there are certain warranty conditions and restrictions. Under normal use, these vulnerable parts can be replaced free of charge if they are damaged within the warranty period. But if they are damaged prematurely because the user fails to replace them according to the specified maintenance cycle, they may not be covered by the free warranty.


III. Warranty Conditions

1. Proper Use and Maintenance

Users must operate and use the screw air compressor strictly in accordance with the requirements of the product instruction manual and carry out regular maintenance according to the maintenance cycle specified in the manual. For example, the lubricating oil needs to be replaced at the specified time intervals, and the air filter needs to be inspected and cleaned. At the same time, the air compressor should be installed in an environment that meets the requirements, and avoid operating in environments with high temperature, humidity, dust, or corrosive gases, otherwise, the validity of the warranty may be affected.

2. Use of Original Spare Parts

During the warranty period, if parts need to be replaced, original spare parts provided by the screw air compressor manufacturer must be used. If the user uses non - original spare parts on their own and causes equipment failures, they may lose the right to warranty.

3. Timely Registration and Record - Keeping

For equipment that enjoys special warranty policies (such as extended warranty period, long - term warranty for specific components), the user needs to register the equipment on the manufacturer - designated platform within the specified time (usually 90 days) after commissioning and keep relevant materials such as the equipment purchase voucher, maintenance records, and repair records, so as to provide them when warranty is required.


IV. Warranty Process

1. Fault Feedback

When the user finds that the screw air compressor has a fault, they should immediately contact the manufacturer's after - sales service hotline or the local authorized maintenance center and describe in detail the fault phenomena, the time of the fault occurrence, the operating status of the equipment, and other information.

2. Fault Diagnosis

After - sales service personnel will initially judge the cause of the fault based on the information feedback by the user and guide the user to perform some simple troubleshooting operations. If the problem cannot be solved through telephone communication, the after - sales service personnel will arrange professional technicians to go to the site for inspection and diagnosis.

3. Repair and Handling

If the fault is within the warranty scope, the technicians will repair or replace the faulty parts free of charge. During the repair process, the technicians will explain the cause of the fault and the repair plan to the user, and after the repair is completed, they will debug the equipment to ensure that the equipment returns to normal operation. If the fault is not within the warranty scope, the technicians will also explain the reasons to the user in detail and provide a repair quotation and solution. The user can proceed with paid repairs after agreeing.

4. Repair Record and Follow - up

After the repair is completed, the technicians will fill in detailed repair records, including fault phenomena, fault causes, repair measures, replaced parts, and other information. The manufacturer's after - sales service department will also follow up with the user within a certain period after the repair to understand the operating conditions of the equipment and the user's satisfaction with the repair service.
